Not nearly as exciting as the Kookaburra, but this is one of our local birds. He proceeded to catch some sand crabs for dinner. (7/10/09, City of Angels, 5:21 p.m.)

I love his reflection on the sand---and the lighting is so warm and wonderful!! Beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot taken at the best time of day. IMO it would look good cropped as a vertical to get rid of the clump of seaweed and the few bright spots in the top RH corner.
